Casey B. Weade, CFP® , a leading retirement planning professional and published author, has been a sought after speaker in northeastern Indiana on progressive personal finance and retirement planning strategies for nearly a decade. You can see him every week as he hosts Financial Fridays for Indiana’s News Channel 21 ABC or listen in every Sunday as he co-hosts the Financial Safari on WOWO 1190AM /92.3FM.
Mr. Weade works to provide comprehensive financial planning strategies to pre-retired and retired individuals, helping them achieve total wealth optimization and reliable income sources in retirement. A firm believer in achieving success through a personalized strategy, Mr. Weade acts as each individual's financial coach working to optimize their current financial situations by managing and minimizing financial risks, tax liabilities and positioning accounts for continued growth - regardless of market volatility.
Mr. Weade graduated from Stetson University with a Bachelor's degree in Finance as a member of the honorary finance fraternity Beta Alpha Psi. He then went on to earn the prestigious CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification through Kaplan University. He is also an Investment Advisor Representative (IAR), permitting him to advise on a variety of investments, as well as life, accident, and health insurance licensed and Long-Term Care Certified. To go along with these credentials Casey is also an approved member of the Extended Fiduciary Network™ (EFN), National Ethics Bureau™ (NEA) and the Better Business Bureau® (BBB).
Outside of the office, Casey enjoys spending time with his wife Chelsie, golfing, traveling and working out.
Ron G. Weade
Chairman of the Board - Financial Advisor
Ron, a native of northern Indiana, was born in Wolf Lake and attended Ligonier High School. After graduating in 1968, Ron joined the Air Force, where he became a member of the highly distinguished S.E.R.E. Team. After four years in the military, he returned to Indiana and attended Indiana State University.
After college, Ron formed a financial services marketing firm of which he was President and CEO. Ron's company worked with over 500 financial service representatives throughout the Midwest. Ron sold the company in 1999 and retired for a short time. However, Ron missed the friendships and closeness that he developed with his clients. He felt a void without the vital role that he played in helping them to secure their financial futures.
As a result, Ron couldn’t stay out of the business for long. Continuing his research into investments and financial planning, he refined his ability to formulate lower risk income strategies for long-term goals, including retirement. In 2000, Ron returned to his life's work of guiding people in the area of retirement income Planning founding Davenport Financial Services, Inc. Ron changed the name of Davenport Financial Services, Inc. to Howard Bailey Financial, Inc., where he retains his position as Chairman of the board. Today Ron manages the Carolina branch of Howard Bailey Financial, Inc. residing in Asheville, North Carolina.
Ron is an Investment Advisor Representative of Global Financial Private Capital, LLC. holding his series 65 securities license, as well as his life, accident, and health insurance licenses.
With more than four decades of experience, Ron brings his vast knowledge base as well as his unique and creative style to every client's individual situation. Furthermore, Ron advises his clients to follow the same strategies that he incorporates into his own personal finances. M. Todd Reep
Sr. Vice President - Financial Advisor
A native of North Carolina, Todd started working in the financial services industry when he joined the United States Marine Corps (USMC) in 1981, as a Personal Financial Records Administrator. While in the USMC, Todd was awarded a Meritorious Mast for his responsibilities while serving at the Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) in Iwakuni, Japan.
“ Helping Marines stick to a budget was a bit of a challenge. USMC had a great college savings program that military matched two for one and I really encouraged my Marines to take full advantage of it.”
Mr. Reep continued his financial advisory career in 1987 as a licensed stockbroker, after studying business at UNC-Charlotte. His experiences have included investment advisory positions with Edward Jones and Bank of America Investments where, as Sr. Vice President of the firm,
he managed 130 million in individual client accounts. As a result of having experienced firsthand the negative effects of market volatility, Todd now specializes in sound and innovative strategies that guarantee the appropriate amount of income for his client’s lifestyle - Retirement Income Planning.
Working with his fellow Sr. Associate Advisor, Ron Weade, Todd enjoys the Howard Bailey Financial team approach to developing financial plans for clients.“Together Ron and I have over 65 years of experience. We work together to create solid plans, that in return adds so much value for our clients,” states Todd.
Outside of the office, Todd enjoys spending time with his three boys, going to sporting events and art exhibits. You may also find him and his sons adventuring through the woods, streams, and rivers of Western North Carolina, as well as staying active with their church.
Marshal N. Johnson
Vice President - Financial Advisor
A native of Fort Wayne, Marshal has spent the last decade in the financial services industry and specifically the last six years as a Senior Investment Advisor with a National fee-based asset management firm building a significant client base across the tri-state area.
Mr. Johnson joins the Howard Bailey family to build upon his passion for serving his client’s needs in a more dynamic and creative manner. As a Senior Investment Advisor, he has learned the value of proper
risk management along with the understanding that comprehensive financial planning involves more than just asset accumulation in a ‘one size fits all’ box.
Marshal uses a conversational approach with his clients that focuses his emphasis on listening to properly evaluate what tools are needed to serve each client. He strives to meet and exceed client expectations by providing proactive and innovative solutions for asset management, tax planning, estate planning and most importantly retirementincome planning.
